Makwanpur police arrested 32-year-old Sunil Singh Patel of Rautahat's Moulapur municipality-9 from Hetaunda along with the illegal drug Nitravet.
The team of police station Ratomate caught him with various amounts of nitrates from the vehicle numbered B.P. 01-031 Ch 5022 during checking at Hetaunda-15 Ratomote under East-West Highway. District Police Office Makwanpur informed that after stopping the vehicle, drugs were found from the suitcase and bag carried by the checking Patel.
The police found 3,440 tablets of Nitravet, 2,950 capsules of Tramadol, 385 ampoules of Phenargan, 395 ampoules of Nurfin and 387 ampoules of Diazepam from Patel's suitcase and bag.
The police said that they took a one-week permission from the Makwanpur district court and proceeded with the necessary investigation process.
