Makwanpur police arrested 2 people with illegal drug marijuana. Under the Kanti Lokpath road section, Makwanpurgarhi Rural Municipality-2 Shikharkateri is coming towards Hetaunda market via Sukoura Budichaur. 2 people were arrested from motorcycle number 26 P 3671.

Those arrested are 25-year-old Vijay Thapa of Dolakha Bhimeshwar Municipality-8 and 35-year-old Sunil Bomjan of Makwanpurgarhi Rural Municipality-7.

District Police Office Makwanpur said that 2 kg 530 grams of ganja was found when they were searched on the basis of suspicion. Spokesperson of the District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal informed that both of them have received a 7-day permission from the Makwanpur District Court and further investigation process has been started.
