On Tuesday evening, the police arrested four people in the case of stolen electronic cigarettes (Vape) at the dry port and customs office of Tatopani, the northern border of the district.
According to Chief Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Karki of District Police Sindhupalchok, four suspects have been detained for stealing 36 cartoons from customs a few days ago.
After getting the information about vape theft, the police started investigation. Based on the CCTV footage, some people wearing masks were seen stealing the vape. In which the police found two cartoon vape near the room of a customs security officer.
On that basis, the police arrested the operator and two other locals along with the customs guard. "They have been detained on the basis of suspicion, the customs report has not been received, further investigation is underway, we will make the whole thing public," said Karki. According to

"Representatives have already left here with the report. Based on the two boxes found out of the 36 missing cartoons, they have been taken under control," he said. Earlier, Tatopani customs chief Kamalkumar Bhattarai said that the transport had brought it in and kept it safe.
