The government has decided to conduct the sixteenth session of the Bagmati State Assembly from the coming 5th of June. Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Surajchandra Lamichhane informed that the cabinet meeting held at the office of the Chief Minister and Cabinet on Tuesday decided to recommend the head of the state to convene the 16th i.e. budget session.
The fifteenth session of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly ended on March 20.
Similarly, policies and programs and budget for the upcoming financial year 2082/83 will be presented from the sixteenth session. The state government is preparing the budget for the coming year. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning had set a budget ceiling of 55 billion for 14 ministries including the Chief Minister's Office and the Cabinet Office on 4 Baisakh.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to appoint three new secretaries, Baikunth Adhikari, Hemraj Bhushal and Jhalnath Adhikari, who have been transferred.
