Four geologists have reached the spot on Wednesday morning to conduct an on-site study of the area where the single-cap Balero vehicle (van) disappeared five days ago after floating underground.

Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-16 Garigaon road washed away on Friday and the vehicle got stuck in the swamp and is now missing. At the request of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city to investigate the area, under the leadership of geologist Narayan Adhikari, Krishna Pandey, Mani Khanal and lay technician Amar Bahadur Thapa of Mines and Geology Department have come to Hetaunda and are studying the incident. 

The geologists took detailed information about the incident from Hareram Rai, the driver of the vehicle that was lost on the ground, and also got preliminary information about the land and water of the Garigaon area from the old residents of the area, including Bhairav ​​Rai. A hundred meters around the area where the vehicle was lost  No one is allowed to come around.

Geologist Narayan Adhikari said that because it is a dangerous area, no one was allowed to come within 100 meters to be safe. "There was a lake in this area hundreds of years ago, there is black soil under it," said a geologist.

Mayor Meena Kumari Lama, Deputy Mayor Rajesh Bania of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city and the ward presidents of various wards of the municipality, along with the presence of geologists, have continued their research work. Officials say that the results of the study will reveal what happened there.

The single cap Balero vehicle (van) carrying fish that suddenly floated underground has not been found till Tuesday. A meeting of the disaster management committee was held in Hetounda sub-metropolitan city on Sunday regarding the incident.

Chief District Officer Scheme Shrestha was also present at the meeting, and it was decided to bring a geologist about the area and search for the vehicle only after studying it. After that decision, four geologists came to Hetaunda and started the study at the request of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city. 

Since Sunday, patrolling and vehicle search operations were stopped in the area.  After the road washed away and the Bolero vehicle (van) No. 4 Ch 4833 disappeared under the ground, the owners of the concrete houses near the incident site are also worried. He is worried about when he will be home.

According to him, the van disappeared when the road suddenly collapsed at the place where it was stopped. As the vehicle drifted, water puddles formed on the road. The driver and co-driver of the vehicle got out before the vehicle was overturned. Eyewitnesses have said that the car disappeared within 5/7 seconds after it hit.

There is also a fish farming pond and boring near the place where the car was washed away. It is estimated that the ground has become submerged due to boring. The vehicle was not seen floating in the water and even after draining the water, the vehicle was not found. The area where the vehicle was washed away is also the corridor of Karra river.
