Namobuddha municipality has been declared as a full-fledged municipality. Mayor Kunsang Lama announced Namobuddha municipality as a fully vaccinated municipality during a program organized in the municipality premises on Wednesday.
According to the National Immunization Guidelines, all the children between 15 months from birth and 16 to 59 months of age have been given all the vaccinations after completing the entire procedure. During the
program, the Coordinator and Head of the Coordination Committee of the District Vaccination Committee, Deepak Kumar Gautam, handed over the certificate of complete vaccination assurance to the Mayor Bhandari. Coordination chief Gautam congratulated and congratulated the municipality that along with the development of every sector, the health sector is also working as a priority and the municipality has been successful in declaring full vaccination coverage.
Gautam, head of coordination, said that even though the municipality has been declared fully vaccinated, there are challenges to its sustainability. Similarly, he informed that preparations are being made to announce full vaccination coverage to Kavre district in the month of May.
Among the 13 local levels of Kavre, Namobuddha municipality is the first municipality to announce full vaccination coverage this year, District Health Office Kavre vaccination officer Parthamani Neupane said. According to him, vaccination has an important role to protect children's health. However, he said that the quality of vaccination given to children in Nepal should be improved. In the
program, Mayor Lama said that the municipality is one step ahead in the fields of education, health, infrastructure development and human development. According to him, the contribution of all the health workers working in the health sector to ensure full vaccination of the municipality has been incomparable. According to him, the local government has worked according to the spirit of the constitution and the policy made by the people's representatives has been made successful by the health workers and the municipality has been declared fully vaccinated.
