A pedestrian was killed in a collision with a passenger bus in Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-8 under the East-West Highway.

Ansari, who was injured in a bus collision, died on Monday morning at Hetaunda Hospital during treatment. The bus hit him at 12.00 on Sunday night and injured him.

The hit bus and the bus driver of Udaipur Katari Municipality-2  39-year-old Yuvraj Majhi was arrested by the police from Amlekhganj. After hitting the pedestrian, the bus driver was going towards Amaglekhganj  .

It has been revealed that the deceased Ansari is the owner of a truck bearing No. 5 B 8668, the police said. He was hit by a bus after the truck broke down in that area and he called a mechanic to repair the truck.
