Fugitive suspect involved in human trafficking arrested

The police have arrested Ashish Nepali, a fugitive defendant involved in human trafficking, resident of Thamel, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26, Okhaldhunga Champadevi Rural Municipality-1.

According to the police, Ashish was involved in the incident of taking the victim girl to Chiring Dance Bar in Khasa, China on 11th February 2070 and selling her for 18 thousand rupees. He has been absconding ever since.

He was arrested from Babarmahal by a team from Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau. 

According to the police, they are conducting necessary investigation on him after taking permission from the Kathmandu District Court for 5 days.
