First President of Nepal Dr. Ramvaran Yadav has said that as a result of the republican struggle, the country has moved towards inclusiveness.
Former President Dr. Dr. Ramvaran Yadav said that with the establishment of democracy and republic in Nepal, inclusive development has accelerated. Addressing the
program, former President Dr. Yadav said that the republican movement which started with the sacrifices of martyrs like Dharma, Gangalal and now after a long journey of 85 years is oriented towards building a literate, inclusive and participatory society.
He opined that the creation of 25 thousand 228 posts in the civil service for the backward communities including tribals, Dalits, Muslims and women was a historic achievement in the 17-year republican period of Nepal.
"The country is moving forward in a democratic, inclusive governance system," Dr. Yadav said, "But people should get correct information about this". History should be understood, it is necessary to look at the present in the mirror of this history.'
Urging to be interested in political history and to understand it in depth, he said that it is necessary to understand the importance of literacy, participation and inclusiveness to strengthen the journey of the republic.
