The construction of a 43-room building in Makwanpur's Raksirang Rural Municipality has reached its final stage.
The construction work of the Raksirang office building in the remote area of the district has completed more than 80 percent. The building, which started construction in June 2078 in Chainpur, which is the center of the village, has four floors and 43 rooms. According to the contract, the construction work should be completed by the end of June 2018.
The construction work of the building is being done by Jaymata Engineering Construction Company. Vinod Parajuli, technician of the rural municipality, said that the work has not progressed as per the contract. The office building is being constructed at a cost of Rs.
Rajkumar Malla, president of the rural municipality, said that after the building is ready, all the offices and branches of the rural municipality will be under one roof. Currently, the municipality has been providing services to the residents of the municipality by constructing a one-story crude building, while the branches of health, agriculture and others have taken shelter in the buildings of other organizations.
