The highway has been blocked due to landslides including landslides in various places of the 50 km to 54 km section under the Araniko highway.
District Traffic Police Office Kavre Chief Police Inspector Bikas Tamang informed that two-way traffic on the highway was blocked due to a landslide due to rain around 4 pm on Thursday.
According to him, efforts are on to clear the road after removing the landslide. But he said that it is difficult to open the road because it is raining.
Vehicles have been requested to travel through the Chakhola-Jamdi-Kuntabensi-Nagarkot road section.
