The fierce fire that broke out in Habra located in Jugal Rural Municipality-3, a remote part of the district, was brought under control after four hours. According to local police office Jalbire, five houses have been destroyed by fire despite efforts to bring the fire under control.

According to District Police Deputy Superintendent Umashankar Yadav, fire broke out in 5 houses in Habra at 1 pm. He said that the fire was completely brought under control with the help of police and locals. According to him, the house of Prem Shrestha, a resident of Jugal-3 Habra, started a fire due to a short circuit. Kumar Shrestha, Mankumari Shrestha, Milan Shrestha's stone-mud roofed houses along with their two houses with zinc roofs have been damaged. 

According to the district police, there was a loss of 58 lakhs worth of gold, clothes, dishes, grain in cash. "The fire has not been completely brought under control, due to taking precautions, there was no human loss," he said.
