Raithane Bazaar has been started in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-22 Patihani to sell the vegetables, dairy products, handicrafts etc. produced in the village. Mayor Renu Dahal inaugurated the market on New Year's Day on Wednesday. Bharatpur-22 ward office manages the market.
"We have started such a market with the aim of direct buying and selling between local producers and consumers, without the entry of middlemen," said Bharatpur-22 Ward President Bishnuraj Mahate. Raithane market will be operated under the guise of Patihani Kamalpaekhri ward office.
Ward member Deepak Paidel said that every Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. For the time being, 22 stalls will be selling local products. 
Mayor Dahal said that the metropolitan city is doing various programs for agriculture and Raithane market will help in marketing. Speaking about the program, Santesh Kunwar, General Manager of Tourist Hotel Kasra Resort, said that Raithane products will be appreciated by tourists. 'It increases our identity . It also supports the local economy," Kunwar said.
Suman Shrestha, President of Chitwan Industry and Commerce Association, said that Patihani is emerging as a tourist area and there is a possibility of increasing agricultural production and sales. He expressed hope that Raithane market will play a role in connecting farmers with the market.
