District Police Office Kavre has arrested the absconding defendant of the crime of duty killing after 31 years.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Meen Bahadur Ghale informed that the arrested person is 57-year-old Dan Bahadur Pradhan of Duti located in Kavre's former Nagregagarche gauis-9 (currently Chaunrideurali rural municipality-2). 

According to him, Dan Bahadur was absconding after killing Uttar Bahadur Pradhan of the same place on 16th Baisakh 2050 at 7 o'clock in the evening. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment on the 28th of January 2076 in the case of duty killing. The police arrested him from Dhulikhel Municipality-7 on Sunday.

He was sent to District Jail Dhulikhel on Sunday for the execution of the verdict, according to the police.
