The Tribal Commission has submitted its annual report to the Chief of Bagmati Province, Deepak Prasad Devkota.
Surya Bahadur Gurung, a member of the commission, has submitted the report to the state chief Devkota, which includes the issue of how much the government has implemented for the welfare of the tribal people in 4 years. Acknowledging the annual report, Provincial Chief Devkota said that after studying the report, it will be handed over to Bagmati Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama and Chief Secretary. Gurung, a member of the
commission, said that it is necessary to ensure and empower the political, economic, social and cultural rights of the tribal people to promote their identity, rights and protection. "It is necessary to review and formulate policies, laws and plans to ensure the authority of tribals," He said.
