The police have arrested the people who showed their weapons and looted at different places. Those arrested are 49-year-old Vir Bahadur Tamang of Bahrbise-2 Karthali in Sindhupalchok, 42-year-old Budhishan Tamang, 52-year-old Mahesh Kumar Khadka of Khijitemba-9 in Okhaldhunga and 36-year-old Rajukumar Danuwar of Katari-14 in Udaipur, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale, Information Officer of District Police Office Kavre.

According to him, Nepal Police Central Investigation Bureau arrested them from Lazimpat Kathmandu while searching for those involved in the theft of gold jewelery by showing khukuri, axes and fake pistols on different dates and times. 

Budwiman, Maheshkumar, Veer Bahadur and Rajukumar who were arrested during the preliminary interrogation have admitted to threatening the common people, creating terror and looting houses, shops, homestays and agricultural firms by showing them knives, axes and fake pistols. It is mentioned in the press release issued by the police that they stole 40,000 cash from Dharmagopal Shrestha's Newa Grill Hill snack house at Panauti-5 Choukotdanda, and 65,000 cash from Deepak Bahadur Tamang of Ramkot in Dhulikhel-9 and 65,000 cash. 

Similarly, a complaint of theft of gold jewelery and cash of Rs 320,000 and a mobile phone has been registered at the police office from Lama Homestay operated by Lopsang Lama located in Banepa-3, Tanchok Manedanda.
