In Makwanpur, a man has died after falling from Bhir and reaching the burnt area. 49-year-old Akil Bahadur Pakhrin of Bhimfedi Rural Municipality-1 reached the place of fire after falling from Bhir. According to Makwanpur district police office, he was burnt to death.

A fire was raging in the local community forest since Wednesday afternoon. Akil Bahadur Pakhrin went to the place where the fire broke out with his wife and brother at 11 o'clock on Wednesday night due to the fear of a fire in the barn. While watching, he fell from the crowd.

Pakhrin's wife and brother searched all night but could not find him due to the smoke from the fire. His body was found charred by fire on Thursday morning when his family and local residents searched.

Pakhrin's body was found stuck in the waves of Bhorla about 200 meters below Bhir, said police inspector Lalita Dhakal of the area police office Bhimfedi.
