The first cultural and commercial festival has started in the historical, religious and cultural city of Kavre.
The festival started on Thursday with the slogan of 'distinct identity of Nepali original culture, our campaign to protect, promote and promote culture' in collaboration with Panauti Industry and Commerce Association, in the organization of National Folk Cultural Foundation, under the patronage of Panauti Municipality-7 and under the management of United Nepal Mela Mahotsav Group.
The festival, which will run until May 3rd, was inaugurated by Ram Sharan Bhandari, head of Panauti Municipality. While inaugurating the

Geeta Banjara, deputy head of Panauti municipality, said that such programs are necessary to reveal the identity of Panauti. According to him, I believe that the festival will be effective in promoting the traditional heritage, original folk culture and business. Namraj Dhungana, President of the National Folk Cultural Foundation, said that the aim of the
festival is to highlight the glorious history of Panauti and promote internal tourism, and to introduce the local art, culture, domestic industry and business to the national and international level by displaying the agricultural, religious, cultural, industrial and handicrafts of Panauti. Bhola Thapa, President of Panauti Industry and Commerce Association, said that the festival will help to introduce the historical area of Panauti, bring local products to the market and make Panauti known internationally. According to the organizer, the
festival has attractive commercial stalls of agricultural products, local handicrafts and household items, and arranges a modern kindergarten for the entertainment of children, and every evening national and local level artists will present an entertaining cultural program.
