The winter session of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly will end on Wednesday night. The state government has decided to recommend the end of the winter session of the Parliament.
The cabinet meeting of the provincial government held on Wednesday morning has decided to recommend to the provincial head to end the winter session of the parliament.
According to the spokesperson of the government and Minister of Internal Affairs and Law, Surajchandra Lamichhane, it has been recommended to the state chief Deepak Prasad Devkota to end the session of Parliament from 11:59 pm on March 20th. He said that according to Article 183 of the Constitution of Nepal, it is recommended to end the session of the Parliament.
He said that the government has reached the decision to end the session of the state assembly because there is no condition to proceed. Parliament was affected when the all-party meeting held on Tuesday for conducting the Parliament meeting could not give a conclusion. He said that despite the commitment of the government to cover the issues raised on a party basis, there is no positive initiative from the opposition party.
