Relatives of those who died in a road accident staged a demonstration in Makwanpur's Manhari Rural Municipality under the East-West Highway.

After the driver of the van was killed when a bus and a magic van collided on Friday morning in Manhari rural municipality-6 Lothar, the angry locals blocked the road. 

The protestors have created obstacles on the road and demanded that the incident should be investigated and the issue of compensation decided immediately. Police and administration are trying to open the road.

Bus No. BA 03006 B 5681 coming from Chitwan towards Hetaunda and Magic Van B 03001 B 3012 going to Lothar Bazar from Manhari collided with each other.

32-year-old Sandesh Koirala of Raksirang Rural Municipality-4, the driver of the van, died in the accident. Koirala, who was injured in a collision between a bus and a van, died on the way while being taken to Chitwan for treatment, according to the area police office Manhari. Koirala was the only driver in the

van. Both the vehicles came at high speed. The police have arrested the driver of the bus.
