The Bhaktapur festival will be held on the occasion of the famous Viska Jatra and New Year 2082. A festival is going to be held at the corner of Sallaghari with the slogan 'New year, new thinking, six sources of progress for the youth'. Sandeep Mahat, president of the organizing organization Industrial Shanti Nepal, said that the festival will be conducted from March 28 to Baisakh 7.
'The 9th Bhaktapur Industrial Cultural, Tourism, Agriculture and Business Festival will be conducted for 11 days,' he said. In the festival, there will be daily consumable items, food items, vadakuda as well as different types of clothes, shoes, agricultural and handicraft items used in daily life.
There will be an exhibition of industrial products, an exhibition of information and science technology, an auto mobile exhibition, an exhibition and sale of modern agricultural tools. There will be stalls for the trade and display and sale of mobile and electronic goods. There are plans to include local handicrafts and agricultural products in the
festival. A discount of 20% to 50% has been arranged on the goods sold at the fair.
