Khairhani Municipality-13 has given laptops to 21 students studying in Class 11 at Gavai Mavi Community School.

Ward president Kulprasad Bhushal said that laptops were provided to students from the budget of the ward office. 

Ward office allocated a budget of 10 lakh rupees for the purchase of laptops, so they purchased and distributed laptops for 8 lakh rupees from the tender, he said.

There are 14 female students and seven male students in class 11. The government should invest in community schools. Because only those who have a weak financial situation come to study there. Ward office has helped by thinking how to make students accustomed to this subject in the age of information technology, said the ward president Bhushal.  Bhushal said that

usually has the basic knowledge to use a computer and if they cannot, they will also arrange for training. Rishi Prasad Khanal, Headmaster of Gavai Mavi, said that the investment made in the students will yield good returns.

The ward office has been giving full scholarships to students studying in class 11 and 12 in Gawai Mavi for the past three years and 19 female students in the ward who are studying for graduation.
