The panel of Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh (Navisangh) has won in Kavre Multipurpose Campus.
In the Independent Student Union (SWU) election held on Tuesday at the Angic and Community Campus under Tribhuvan University, the panel of the Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh (Nevisangh) won at the Kavre Multipurpose Campus in Kavre. Election Officer Madhav Prasad Timalsina informed.
According to the counting of votes completed at 3 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, Rohin Parajuli, the candidate of the New Union, has won the post of Swaviyu president of Kavre Multipurpose Campus by getting 272 votes. His nearest rival Aneraswaviyu Milan Gautam has got 119 votes.
Likewise, Tirtha Kumari Bhurtel, the candidate of Navy Sangh for the post of secretary, has received 264 votes, while her nearest rival, Gyuchen Lama, the candidate of Akhil Krantikari, has received 124 votes.
Manish Shrestha from Navy Sangh has got 256 votes while Srijana Sapkota has got 129 votes from ANERASWA for the post of treasurer. Among the members, Sudha Shrestha from Navy Sangh got 274, Sajina Lama got 261, Manish Kunwar got 262 and Sandhya Giri from Aneraswaviyu (Socialist) got 249 votes and Sunita Guint got 249 votes.
Asmita Khanal, Suveksha Gautam, 105, Prajit Bishta, 102, Adis Bishta, 99 and Pramesh Paudel have received 129 votes for the position of member of SWAVIU. For the elections, there was an alliance between the Navy Sangh and Aneraswaviyu (socialist) and an alliance was formed between Aneraswaviyu and Akhil Revolutionaries. 396 votes were cast in that campus with a total of 541 voters.
In 15 out of the 16 campuses of the district, the leadership has been unanimously elected by dividing into 6 by the Navy Union, 6 by Aneraswaviyu and 3 by Akhil Krantikari.
