Abhi Mainali has been elected to the post of President on behalf of ANERASWVIU in Hetaunda Campus of Makwanpur.

Mainali, who was a candidate from the joint panel of the Independent Students' Union (SWAVIU) on Tuesday, was elected with 251 votes . His competitor Akhil Krantikari's Deepak Waiba Tamang has received 119 votes.

Aneraswaviyu's Ganesh Timalsina got 271 votes while his competitor Ishwar Dhungel of Revolutionaries got 91 votes for the post of secretary. Suraj Bolkhe of Navy Union got 236 votes while Prasna Dong of Krantikarika got 115 votes for treasurer.

Similarly, Shishir Dhakal, Muna Shikari, Nitesh Bhandari, Nitish Kumar Yadav and Akhilesh Kumar Yadav have been elected as members.

Also, proportionally, Aneraswaviyu has received 220 votes, All Revolutionaries 95 votes and Navy Sangh 57 votes. 374 students voted in the election.

A total of 374 people voted.
