A fire has broken out in Gorakhnath Community Forest located in Bethanchok Rural Municipality-3 Bolde of Kavre. Kuber Dhakal, Ward Chairman of Bethanchok Rural Municipality-3 informed that the forest was on fire since 11 pm on Sunday.

According to him, there is no danger in the human settlement as the fire place is far away from the human settlement. 

Since the fire was visible during the night, it was not possible to control it, so preparations are being made to control it in the morning, he said. According to him, the police, people's representatives, forest users' committee and the public have all been informed.

According to the in-charge of Chamrangbeshi-Dunkhark police station Ramesh Shah, the police team is going to the place where the fire broke out. He said that detailed information about the incident site is yet to come.
