The fire that broke out on Sunday morning in the forest near Thongthong near Vigu rural municipality-1 Lamabagar of Dolakha under Gaurishankar conservation area has gone out of control.

From early morning, the Garuda Dal Gana of Nepal Army, armed police and the team from the conservation area, deployed to protect the Upper Tamakoshi hydropower plant in the forest of the protection zone, tried to control it.

Residents of Lamabagar have said that the electricity service was interrupted due to the damage to the electric poles.
