A woman riding a motorcycle has died after being hit by a truck in Manahari, Makwanpur. 2 people were injured.
District Police Office Makwanpur has informed that 34-year-old Sarita Dev Choudhary of Colvi Municipality-5, Bara, who was riding the motorcycle, was hit by an empty mixer truck number Ba P 03-001 K 0827 coming from the same direction when a motorcycle numbered 11 P 9628 was coming from Chitwan towards Hetaunda in Manhari Rural Municipality-7 Ramantar under the East-West Highway.
35-year-old Shivkumar Chaudhary, a motorcycle driver, was injured in the accident. The police said that Shivakumar was the husband of the deceased Sarita. said.
In the accident, 6-year-old Ansh Chaudhary, son of Ajay Chaudhary of Rautahat, brother-in-law of Shivkumar Chaudhary, who was riding a motorcycle, was injured. His right hand is injured.
Makwanpur police said that the truck and its driver, 49-year-old Dhan Bahadur Sunar of Manhari-9, Jamire, have been detained.
