The government of Bagmati province is going to start the law making process to monitor and regulate the development and construction in the province.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday gave consent for the creation of laws for the monitoring, regulation and evaluation of the development work of the province. Shyam Khadka, Minister of Water Supply, Energy and Irrigation of the province, said that the meeting has given principled consent to prepare the draft of the bill related to provincial monitoring and evaluation. According to him, due to the lack of monitoring and evaluation of the physical infrastructure and social development of the province, there is a problem, so a law has been prepared to solve the problem. Minister Khadka said that the meeting decided to provide 7 ropani 7 annas of land in Bhaktapur for the purpose of transport office and 5 ropani out of 10 ropani registered in the name of Nepal government in Bhaktapur Nakhel-1 for the construction of office building of Public Health Laboratory Kavre.

Similarly, Minister Khadka informed that out of the 12 plantations registered in the name of Nepal Government in Suryavinayak Municipality-7 of Bhaktapur, 7 plantations have been decided to be provided to the Transport Office to build physical infrastructure for administrative operations. 

The meeting has approved the local water sanitation and hygiene procedure-2081 and has also decided to revise the Chepang Chiuri bat conservation program guidelines.
