Cardiac services have been started at Hetaunda Hospital on Tuesday. Cardiologist Dr. from the University Teaching Hospital Kathmandu. Vikesh Shrestha started the service.

 

Dr. Shrestha started the service by examining the health of Bagmati Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama and Health Minister Kiran Thapa.

Bhimsagar Guragai, registrar of Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences and president of Hetauda Hospital, said, "Cardiology specialist Dr. After Shrestha came, the service has been started.'

Chief Minister Lama promised to develop Hetaunda Hospital as a hospital with facilities. He was of the opinion that after the capital of Bagmati Province was placed in Hetounda, the most positive impact was on Hetounda Hospital.

Since there was no heart disease service in the hospital, most of the patients here used to reach Bharatpur and Kathmandu. Now the residents of Hetaunda do not have to go elsewhere for treatment, said Ekalal Shrestha, a member of the Provincial Assembly.

Rotary Club Makwanpur at the hospital  Equipment worth one crore was provided a year ago. Due to lack of doctors, these equipment were kept.

Hetounda Hospital, which was known as a "referral hospital" until a few years ago, is now becoming a reliable and trusted health institution for patients in this region. Health Secretary Dr. Sumitra Gautam said.

Vice Chancellor of Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences Dr. Pradeep Gyawali said that there is a plan to make Hetaunda Hospital the best hospital in the province. According to

hospital, 1,500 to 1,700 patients come to outpatient services only. There are currently 300  bay operating in the hospital operated under the foundation. 500 health workers including 94 expert doctors are working. 200  bay to add 5 story building is under construction  .
