An excavator was buried by a landslide while digging a road in Makwanpur. The excavator was buried when a landslide with stones fell from above while digging a road in Bhimfedi Rural Municipality-9 Chanpakha of Makwanpur.
According to the police, while digging a new road in the road section from Golmod to Phaparbari, which is being built by the Physical Infrastructure Development Department of Bagmati Province, Hetaunda, a landslide excavator with a large stone was partially buried.
Excavator No. 3-01-003 K 6809 was damaged by the landslide as half of it was buried in the same landslide, Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Makwanpur Shyamu Aryal said. The police said that the excavator was buried at the spot and the work of extracting it is going on.
