24 people were injured in a bus accident in Sharada Batase located in Dhulikhel Municipality-10 on Tuesday morning.
District Police Office Kavre has informed that 24 people were injured when a passenger bus numbered Bagmati Province-3-01-005 B 9942 on its way from Kathmandu to Ramechhap on Tuesday morning at 8:20 on the BP Highway near Dhulikhel Municipality-10 Sharada Batase. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale, information officer of the
office, 24 people including the driver and co-driver were injured when the bus went out of control and fell into the road drain. He said that 17 of the injured have been sent to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment. Among the injured who are being treated at Dhulikhel Hospital, the driver and co-driver are seriously injured and they have head injuries, he said.
The police have informed that the road is now one-way on the highway and the bus is still at the scene.
