Makwanpur police have detained two Indian citizens with illegal weapons and pistols. The police arrested two persons with pistol and bullets from Hetaunda-15, Ratomate under East-West Highway.

Police have arrested 22-year-old Dhiraj Kumar of Dhanhara Village, Sihuhar District, Bihar State, India, and Deepak Kumar, 26-year-old resident of Bahri Village, Motihari District, Bihar State, India.

The police have recovered from them a 9mm auto pistol loaded with one round of bullets and 2 more bullets 3 hidden inside a bag of salai. Bishwaraj Khadka, Chief (Superintendent of Police) of District Police Office Makwanpur informed that two people were arrested with illegal weapons while checking the bus No. 8 B 8773 coming from Gaur in Rautahat district towards Hetaunda.

"On the basis of a special information, we have arrested two Indians with a pistol during the checking by the team of police station Ratomate and temporary police post Hariyali", Superintendent of Police Khadka said, "From the preliminary investigation, it has not come to the information that they were brought to give to anyone in Hetaunda." 

He said that further investigation process has been started on this matter. According to Police Superintendent Khadak, weapons have been bought and sold in places where criminal activities take place.
