The fire has been brought under control after the drying of important forest areas in Jugal and Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality of Dadhelole District.

According to District Police Office, Sindhupalchok, so far 82 hectares of forest area including Bhotekoshi, Tripurasundari Rural Municipality area, Jugal, Lisankhu Pakhar Rural Municipality under Gauri Shankar Conservation Center have been destroyed by fire. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police Uma Shankar Yadav of the District Police Office informed that there were no human casualties and the fire in all forest areas has been brought under control. "There was a severe fire in half a dozen forests across the district like Gauri Shankar Conservation and others, all the forest fires have been brought under control by Sunday," he said.

On Thursday, Jhangwari Forest of Liskhumpakhar Rural Municipality-2, Charedanda Mulakkhark Community Forest of Ward 5 and Chandrankhu Sherpa Ghumelan Community Forest of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-5 caught fire at the same time. Police said that the fire was brought under control there on Sunday. 

Tripurasundari-1 Ghorthali The fire that broke out in Purke Danda forest in Gourishankar conservation area on Thursday was extinguished on Saturday.
