A table has been tabled in the meeting of Wagmati State Assembly on Wednesday for the amendment of 4 different laws.

According to Speaker Bhuvan Kumar Pathak, Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences Act 2076, Provincial Sports Development Act 2075,  Provincial Industrial Business Act 2076 and  Provincial Trade and Business Act 2076 has been tabled in the Provincial Assembly for amendment. In the meeting, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Transport, Prem Bhakta Maharjan, presented the bill to amend the Madan Bhandari Health Science Academy Act 2076 and  Youth and Sports Minister Meenkrishna Maharjan tabled the bill to amend the State Sports Development Act 2075 in the House.

Industry, Commercial Land and Administration Minister Sukumaya Tamang tabled the bill to amend the Provincial Industrial Business Act 2076 and the bill to amend the Provincial Trade and Business Act 2076 in the House.

Ministers have stated that with the division of ministries by the provincial government, a situation has arisen in which the law needs to be amended. The Congress-UML-led coalition government has increased the number of ministries to 14 in Wagmati in order to settle the internal disputes of the party. The state assembly meeting has been adjourned today at 1:30 pm.
