There is a dilapidated hut at the foot of Pandrung Solighopte Hill, not too high. Ram Bahadur Chepang is inside that prison. Citizenship shows his age as 78 years. He says that he was about to reach the age of 80 by birth, but he has not received the old-age allowance from the state.

Ram Bahadur, a resident of Lothar Syamrang, Rapti Municipality-13, a remote hilly village of Chitwan, also knows that the government gives old-age allowance to every citizen who reaches the age of 68. He said, "But I don't want that allowance."

He can't see in both eyes. It's been 25 years since the horse stopped walking properly. Ram Bahadur, the father of four sons, now lives with Saila's son Bhim. Eldest son and wife passed away . In the afternoon, after his son's family leaves for work, he is often alone at home. He said, "Now I'm used to living alone, what to do with my eyes and feet."

Ram Bahadur cannot walk. She did not reach the place where she boarded the car until she walked for half an hour from her house. He lamented, "I can't even reach Bhandara Bazar and open an account. It is very difficult to reach the ward office which is one hour away from home. It takes three hours by car to reach Bhandara Bazar from his house.

Ram's son Bhim Bahadur said that even though he could carry it to the ward office for allowance, it was not easy to reach Bhandara market to open a bank account. Ashok Chepang, the ward president of Rapti municipality-13, said that even if the name can be placed in the details of receiving allowance based on documents and relatives, the person should be present to open the account in the bank.
