After the death of Dawa Chhiring Tamang of Lisankhupakhar rural municipality-7 Dandapakhar due to the collision of a truck, the local residents became agitated. After Tamang's death, they became angry and blocked the Lamosanghu-Jiri road.

The road, which was blocked since Friday afternoon, could not be opened until Saturday morning. According to the district police office, Dawa Chhiring Tamang of Lisankhupakhar Rural Municipality-7 Dandapakhar died on the spot due to a collision with a truck number Madhesh Province 03 02 B 0534 in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-7 of Lamosanghu Jiri road section.

Relatives of the deceased and locals have said that they will not remove the body from the road until their demands including compensation are met. One person was killed and two others were injured when a cargo truck going from Dolakha to Kathmandu hit a motorcycle and a scooter on Friday.

After the road was blocked, vehicles and passengers traveling to Dolakha and Ramechhap were stranded.
