The Chakhel-Matatirtha road connecting Makwanpur and Kathmandu will be closed for 15 days from next Monday for upgrading.

Makwanpur's Mahalakshmi Khola-Matatirtha road near Mahalakshmi Khola located in Makwanpur's Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-5 is going to be closed for Bhir Katan.

Indrasarovar rural municipality-5 Ward President Dutraj Titung said that the road section from Makwanpur towards Makwanpur is going to be closed during the upgrading of the infrastructure development office of Bagmati province government.

According to him, the road from Mahalakshmi river to Chakhel Deurali will be closed from 22nd of January i.e. from Monday to 7th of March. The road section is currently being upgraded.
