Unnecessary stickers, jhallars, sairis placed on vehicles have been removed in the district.
The District Traffic Police Office Kavre has started a campaign to remove such materials from Thursday, saying that the materials such as jhallar, bracelets, stickers etc. placed near the glass of the vehicle will cause visibility problems and increase the risk of accidents.
Similarly, Chief Police Inspector of District Traffic Police Office, Kavre, Bikas Tamang informed that the drivers have been requested to delete the sari as the sari written on the vehicles distracts the attention of the drivers. According to him, on the first day of the campaign, vehicles have been checked at Dolalghat, Panchkhal, Khawa, Panauti, Bhakunde, Sanga and other places in the district and requests have been made to remove the unnecessary materials kept in the vehicles and to remove the sari.
"Especially, it has been found that such materials are kept in vehicles such as tippers, trucks, pickups, boleros, etc.," he said.
