District Police Office Kavre has said that the son-in-law has been arrested on the charge of murdering his mother-in-law. Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale informed that the arrested person is 28-year-old Suk Bahadur Tamang of Mandandeupur Municipality-2 of the district.
According to him, Suk Bahadur was arrested by the police based on the preliminary investigation of the incident in which 52-year-old Tinmaya Tamang, a resident of Mandandeupur-1 Garigaon Ghising Toll, was found dead in the basement of her house on the 30th of November at around 18:20.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Suk Bahadur was always scolded by his mother-in-law for not working and that day too, he beat Tinmaya and hit her on the head. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ghale said.
The police said that the arrestee has received an extension from the Kavrepalanchok district court and the necessary investigation is being carried out.
