Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Devendra Dahal has said that the practice of selecting plans based on accessibility should be stopped. He said that plans should not be formulated based on the influence of a person with access or power.

Addressing the 34th annual celebration program of the Jan Maitri Multipurpose Campus in Kuleshwar, Kathmandu on Saturday, he said that only the schemes selected on the basis of needs and priorities will be effective and useful.

'It is important to pay attention to which plan or infrastructure provides convenience to how many citizens, how necessary it is, how much it helps in economic development and acquisition,' Minister Dahal said, 'The practice of choosing a plan from someone's whim and spending state resources. It should be stopped.

He said that the skills and education that can be done in one's own country will be created in the country if the emphasis is on technical and useful education.
