9 people have been arrested with illegal drugs from different parts of the country. They were arrested from various places in Surkhet, Parsa, Kailali and Siraha as part of the operation conducted by the police to control drugs on Saturday, informed the Central Police Spokesperson and Information Officer of Nepal Police Deputy Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki.

Drugs like brown sugar, hashish, brown heroin were found with them. According to the police, 27-year-old Nishant Khatri and 25-year-old Rajan Sigdel from Birendra Nagar Municipality 10, Chowkhedhunga, Surkhet with about 5 grams and 52 milligrams of brown sugar, 23-year-old Dipendra Darzi from Dhading with 4 kg and 300 grams of Charesh from Shankaracharya Gate, Birgunj Metropolitan Municipality 16, Parsa and Kalyanpur Municipality of Siraha- 3 4 grams to 21-year-old Abhishek Kumar Mandal of Etahi Prasahi Procured while checking the motorcycle with brown sugar. 

Police have arrested five people from 4 different places in Kailali district. 19-year-old Sachin Rawal from Tikapur-9 Khakraul with 3 grams 980 milligrams of brown heroin, resident of Janki rural municipality-9 Khairifata, 27-year-old Mahesh Bhatt of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-4 with 2 grams 470 milligrams of brown sugar  And 28-year-old Gopal Ramjali of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-4 was arrested from the same place with 510 milligrams of brown sugar.
