UML took the lead in Gauri Shankar

Out of the 9 wards of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality, UML has taken the lead in 6 wards.

When the counting of votes in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 was completed, UML has taken a lead of 66 votes. UML's candidate Uma Lungeli Magar Sherpa got 1 thousand 972 votes and her closest rival CPN Maoist Center's Nimleki Sherpa got 1 thousand 906 votes and is following her. 

Pasdiki Sherpa of Nepali Congress is in third place with 1,281 votes. Goma Shrestha of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party got 77 votes, Mankumari Shrestha of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party got 76 votes and Ravina Khadka of United Socialist Party got 71 votes.

In the vice-presidential by-election held on Sunday, 7,594 votes were cast, and 5,494 votes have been counted so far, according to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer. Now 3 wards are to be counted.

48.28 percent votes were cast in the by-elections held on Sunday in Gaurishankar.
