In Gairishankar Rural Municipality-9, 8 houses have been swept away by the flood that came in Raelwaling creek. A 65-year-old Jangmu Sherpa, who was running a hotel business in Daegang, has gone missing due to the floods.
Viswas Karki, Chairman of Gairishankar Rural Municipality, said that all the houses in Daegang were swept away by the flood that occurred on Friday night.
He informed that 3 big and 5 small hotels in Daewang, which are located on the Railwaling road, were destroyed. Rescue of the flood victims Karki said that the Nepali Army, armed forces, Janpath and the disaster management team of the municipality are searching for the missing persons.
