Geetha Prasad Puri of Fungling municipality-3 tried many ways to stay in his birth place. Seasonal and non-seasonal crops were planted around the house and in the paddy field. To save the crops and get the produce, make a cut (Goth) in the fields. Despite searching for one option after another, some measures could not be effective. As he could not bear the suffering of wild animals, he planned to migrate as a last resort. He said that he was making a plan to go down to the plains like Charachhimeki had gone or to settle down somewhere else.

Chaitanya Prasad Ghimire of Phungling-8 Vedabari is also in the same confusion. After being harassed by the monkeys coming from Bhandikhola area, he reduced the food crops and planted fruits like lychee, mango, kathar.

When there is no grain left by the time of taking the product, plants like lampate and bamboo are planted as a last resort. He thought that he could be saved. "Unfortunately, even that was not possible," says Chaitanya. A new bamboo cannot grow by breaking the copper . After the top is broken, the tree will not grow tall.' He said that the old bamboo will be completely destroyed in five/seven years.

Both of them in Fungling municipality were suffering from a bull and a monkey. Due to such pain, up to 250 families migrate annually from Fungling Municipality, which is the district headquarters. According to the statistics branch of the municipality, 245 to 330 families have migrated annually since 2078. "As many as have come to the municipality, they have entered the headquarters for the purpose of doing business," Mohan Neupane, the spokesperson of the municipality, said, "People who do agricultural work are leaving and walking."

Mingma Sherpa, who came from Meringden Rural Municipality to earn the land of Purna Bahadur Sunuwar of Fungling Municipality-8 Salleri in Adhiyan, is an example of this . His routine, who moved to the municipality with the expectation of relatively convenient facilities, was to wake up in the morning and reach the end of the farm, sit in the cool of the trees all day and let the animals cry, eat all the food and snacks in the farm and return home only after evening. He has decided to leave here because he has to stay in the field until the crops are harvested after the corn stalks and rice plants are planted and the crops will be destroyed if they are left for even one day.

Due to the other manpower needed to deliver food and snacks to the farm, his residence from Meringden Rural Municipality-5 Thukimba could not be sustained. "I was satisfied with my neighbors, my friends, my creditors, it was good because the market was near," said Mingma, "but I couldn't bear the terror of the monkey and had to leave."

Both Chaitanya, who thought of working hard on his own land, and Mingma, who had migrated, are now under stress day and night. Parents complain that children here spend their days chasing monkeys. Lakpatenji Sherpa, a class 7 student at Mewaraja Primary School, says he has to leave the bari in the morning and evening with getis (guleli). In the afternoon, the hand that carries the pen is in the morning and in the evening. Seeing the child alone, he was attacked by the hooves of the monkey, so he had to carry the gateis for his own safety . "When Gattis sees it, it runs up towards the tree," he said, "Gatis is only a means of escape." The day of our holiday is spent crying like a monkey.'

Farmers in the Aul area of Fungling Municipality, which is considered good for grain and fruit production, have been affected by the monkey terror, city spokesman Neupane admits. Especially the farmers of Upper Saptel, Bhedabari, Guhenli, Aghedim, Bhate, Langwa, Khodamvu, Bejamvu from the Tamor River are affected . Neupane said that there were many members of the monkey that runs away to the lakeside and when it is comfortable, comes and abandons the crops. Koshi Province's Minister of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Khagensin Hangam, said that the farmers have raised this issue in the discussions held from time to time in Fungling-8 Mewaraja, Meringden and other places.

Fungling Municipality Chief Amir Maden, who said that he listened closely and understood the farmer's words, said that he had gone to many places in search of tools to chase them. "I went to Mahavir again to find a way to drive away the monkeys, there is some equipment but I didn't bring it because the batteries don't work in the cold of the mountains," he said.

Mayor Maden says that this year some programs have been organized in the municipality to provide relief to farmers who have suffered damage to their crops from wild animals. Chairman of Fungling-8, Kshitij Sunuwar, says that its control and compensation is beyond the reach of the ward office, so it is drawing the attention of the municipality, state and federal government. Spokesman Neupane and Ward President Sunuwar say that discussions are being held on the matter of keeping watchers by paying wages from the municipality during crop ripening in the most affected areas.

According to the farmer, both sheep and monkeys do not go to the crops before sunrise and after sunset. ``As long as the sun lasts, you must cry . The sheep sits and eats where the crops are. Only a few carry one or two. The monkey takes it as much as possible and eats by sitting on a tree or a tree. The damage caused by monkeys is more than that of rams. Locals say that there are hundreds of monkeys in Hul and destroy the fields at once. Farmers have been successful because they eat the ripe ones and spoil the unripe ones.  Krishan Basnet, district president of the Farmers' Federation, says that till now, the farmers have no choice but to migrate because they spoil what they can eat. Although the reason for migration from Lekali area is the search for opportunities, Basnet claims that wildlife and wild animals are the main reason why Aul area is vacant.

Ward presidents say that there is monkey terror in the areas connected to the Tamor River in Fungling Municipality and from the river to the forest. Residents of 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8 wards are more affected. Mayor Maden says that angry farmers are also raising demands to be killed. According to Ward President Sunuwar, people in the lower areas leave their farms and walk uphill with the support of the forest growing there. Ward President Sunuwar said that even after reaching the Suketar Airport of Ward 8, there were complaints that the monkey was creating terror.

Bhimadevi Ojha, deputy head of Fungling Municipality, says that while the conflict between humans and monkeys is increasing, there has been no damage to wildlife as humans have left the land. She said that the budget for the relief package has been kept so that there is no more anger among the farmers. The farmer has said that he will show huge damage. I myself have gone and seen the damage," Deputy Chief Ojha said, "There is no budget to deal with the weak internal revenue. We are practicing this year to see if something can be done with a small budget.'

People's representatives say that there is such a problem in all municipalities of the district, which has nine local levels including one municipality and eight rural municipalities. The answer to everyone is that there is nothing that can be done with a small budget . According to census 2078, compared to 2068, 6 thousand families have migrated from the district in a decade. Now the population of Taplejung is only 120 thousand.
