Communication and Information Technology Minister and Government Spokesperson Prithvisubba Gurung laid the foundation stone of 2 roads in Lamjung when he was the Chief Minister of Gandaki Province. The foundation stone of Baglungpani-Ghalegaon-Bhujung road was laid on 10th January 2076 and on 23rd November 2077, Udipur-Ritthebagar-Dordi road was laid.

Baglungpani-Ghalegaon road needs to be blacked for 10 km, but only 4 km has been blacked. Of the 7 kilometers that need to be paved, only about 3 kilometers have been paved, including the slope of the road connecting the ropes. The black paper work of both roads, which should be completed within 2 years from the agreement, has not been completed even after 5 years, and the contract has been extended. The deadline has been extended 3 times for the road towards Ghalegaon-Bhujung. The deadline for the road towards Dordi has been extended for the sixth time. It is doubtful that the work will be completed even in the extended deadline.

These two roads are just examples. There are also roads that have been graveled only in the current financial year after the deadline has been extended for the fourth time. The gravelling of 8 km of Geelung-Taksar, Mantri Gurung's village, has just been completed in 6 years after 4 extensions. The road connecting Ghalegaon-Bhujung also falls within his municipality. There are many other examples of roads that only extend the deadline and cannot be completed on time.

Purna Bahadur Tamang, the construction businessman who is in charge of paving and graveling the road towards Ghalegaon-Bhujung, is in Parliament. Congress leader Tamang, who is a member of the House of Representatives from Ramechhap, has also held the responsibility of Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation. His company Kancharam-Nana JV had signed a contract for 2 years on 30th October 2016 to blacktop 10 km road to Ghalegaon and 7 km road gravel from Ghalegaon to Bhujung. Minister Gurung had also warned MP Tamang that he would protest in parliament by name. Coincidentally, now both parties are in the government . On the other hand, the black sheet and gravel work of the road is still pending. According to the

agreement, the road construction work was completed by October 29, 1978, and the deadline was extended for the first time until October 28, 1979. After the work was not completed, the deadline was extended for the second time until 28 October 2018. It didn't work at this time either. Again, the deadline has been extended for the third time till 30th of Chait 082.

The black paper work which started from Kholasothar Rural Municipality-1 Baglangpani has reached the intersection going to Maling and Ghalegaon. After that, 200 meters ahead, it has been left with a one-way black sheet . Surya Prasad Gurung, chairman of Kholasothar Rural Municipality, claims that he is taking initiatives for the speedy construction of the road. Recently, the work has progressed. We are hesitating . Infrastructure Development Office Lamjung Consultant Engineer Rajesh Adhikari has already paid Rs. Kancharam-Nana JV, which had undertaken to build the project at a cost of Rs 347771444879 including VAT, instead of completing the work on time, instead ordered a variation of Rs 189953766 75 paisa. According to the concept of 'one municipality-one road' of Gandaki province, the road connecting Udipur-Ritthebagar-Dordi rural municipality center Nauthar Shera has not been completed even after extending the deadline 5 times . The deadline was extended for the second time till 29 June 080. For the third time, the deadline was extended till 28th December 2018. The deadline has been extended for the fourth time till 31 Baisakh. The deadline has been extended for the fifth time till 28th of December 081 . This time also did not work much . According to Nareshraj Joshi, chief engineer on behalf of the Infrastructure Development Office, the deadline has recently been extended to the end of December 2018 by the fourteenth amendment of the Public Procurement Act. Now this is the last time. If the work is not done within the specified time, the legal process will proceed," he said.

According to him, about 2 kilometers of the road has been blackened so far. Earlier, about 1 km of the road has been sloped . He said that the work of black paper is about 4 km. "This road work will not be completed until November," he said. According to him, after the earlier team from the construction company did not work, another team worked recently. 

He said that the other team has advanced the work rapidly. 85 percent of the road has been completed. He said that about 80 percent has been paid. "Now the work is stopped." As soon as the weather cooperates, the work will proceed," he said. According to him, so far 2259 million 28 thousand 443 rupees have been paid. He said that 5.5 million rupees have been paid in the current financial year alone. He told that the payment is yet to be made.

Yuvraj Adhikari, Chairman of Dordi Rural Municipality, said that the road construction work is extremely slow. According to him, the construction of this road has been delayed due to the construction company and the state government. Businessmen disappeared during the budget. Searching and searching and confused . The work went ahead after searching for it, the government could not give money, and it did not work,' he said . He emphasized that the work has been done at a rapid pace recently and the work should continue at the same pace.

The black paving of Khatrithanti-Kuncha-Sotipasal road, which has been stalled even after the extension of the deadline, is now stalled . Mahavir-Pradhan JV Kathmandu has taken the contract for the construction of this road using double bituminous surface dressing (DBSD) technology. The construction company had signed an agreement on October 22, 2018 for 27 crore 34 lakh 69 thousand 886 rupees 65 paise to complete the road paving of 10.8 km by October 21, 2080. Even though it is almost 2 years since the first contract expired, the construction work is still 80 percent, said the Parasharmadata engineer officer. So far, 11 crore 59 thousand 428 rupees 79 paise have been paid to the businessman.

For the first time, the deadline was extended until 081 June 31, and the second time until 083 June 2 has been extended for this road. The construction of the structure of this road, which started near Handetar of Sundarbazar Municipality-2, Parewada, has been completed. According to the engineer officer, even the subgrade has not been done well. Out of 6 culverts, 5 have been worked on. The construction businessmen came to February and acted as if they had to build a base and black paper. Before and after that, due to lack of work, the construction of this road is at a standstill.

Motidan Construction Services Pvt Ltd has extended the deadline for the fourth time for the construction of 15 kilometers of gravel and 2.3 kilometers of slopes in Sindi-Pasgaon-Bagaincha . Motidan, who signed an agreement on February 7, 078 to finish on February 6, 2076, took 5 years to complete the work of this road. In this too, the construction company took 1 crore 88 lakh 22 thousand 806 rupees 1 paisa variation order. A total of 28 crore 27 lakh 12 thousand 252 rupees 3 paise has been invested . According to Geet Bahadur Gurung, Ward President of Kholasonthar-5 Singhdi, even though the road has been constructed, there is no way to walk during summer. "Where did the work done at the beginning end?" Somewhere the road has washed away . There has been a landslide somewhere . The new one looks a bit different,' he said.

Motidan was given 2 years to gravel the first section of the Karaputar-Chisanku-Daduwa-Salmevjang-Maling road, 8.7 km of Daduwa-Salme Bhanjang . For this road of the communication minister's village, the deadline was extended 4 times and the work was barely completed in 5 years . The deadline for this project, which was signed on February 7, 2076, was until February 6, 2018. Motidan was able to work on June 19, 2018 after the deadline was extended for the fourth time. Motidan, which signed the contract for a total of 17 crore 15 lakh 41 thousand 442 rupees 50 paisa, took a variation order of 1 crore 76 lakh 12 thousand 581 rupees 39 paisa . 

In Lamjung, there are few examples of road projects being completed without the deadline . The completed projects have also been extended for at least 2 years . Among the road plans advanced through the infrastructure office, the Gandaki provincial government allocated the budget for the financial year 080/081 for the second section of the Karaputar-Chisanku-Daduwa-Salmevjang-Maling road. 

Rasuwa-Jyadamba JV Kathmandu signed an agreement for the 9.5 km road slope from Chisanku to Daduwa Bazaar on 13 October 2078 to be completed in 2 years . 080 The deadline for the plan to be completed by October 7 has been extended for the third time . The deadline has been extended for the third time till August 24, 2008. A total of 31 crore 23 lakh 30 thousand 271 rupees 08 paisa has been paid for 27 crore 43 lakh 36 thousand 152 rupees 43 paisa.  The condition of Bensi Sahar-Baglungpani road, Borangkhola-Bichaur road, Salmevnjang-Maling road which was advanced by

infrastructure is also the same . Currently there are about 9 running plans. It is suspected that these roads, which were started last year, will also be completed on time. The technicians themselves are not sure that these projects will be completed without the deadline. 

Rainas Municipality-2 The 4.2 km road from Borangkhola Bazar towards Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality is now blocked. The construction company Ramsagar VK SK JV claims that the construction company Ramsagar VK SK JV is stuck due to lack of budget from the Gandaki state government. KB Gurung of Dudhpokhari rural municipality-4 Ilampokhari complained that the road was blocked due to collusion between the government and the contractor.
