A big family including parents, uncles and aunts . The family was not separated. There was misery and poverty in the house. Sunita's grandfather used to work in the landlord's house. His father did not have his own land. Father also worked in the land of the landlord.

Sunita remembers the past, "My childhood was also difficult". Because there was no firewood to cook rice in the morning. We used to get up early in the morning to collect dung.' 

She is the eldest daughter of the house. Has three sisters and one brother . Everyone got married in Balkai as heard. Sunita took 14 years. Her father loved her dearly. With that love, father taught up to 10th grade. 

The days passed . Gradually, the father's earnings improved the house . However, before he could experience happiness, he had to go to his married home.

"Father couldn't say that I can't send such a young child to a married home," said Sunita about that situation, "but for us, her father couldn't take that step." I will teach my child, I could not say that I will not marry.'

She lived in Maiti for a few years according to the 'Gauna' custom of the Chidimar community. But the married daughter was not kept for a long time. His studies stopped midway . She went to her married house . "Perhaps it happened to me at the age of seven". After 14 years, they sent me to my married home,' she said.

According to Sunita, it was customary to get married in 4/5 years and then get married in 3/4 years . After 6 or 1 year of marriage, it is customary to send it to the house of 'gauna'. 

Sunita says, 'Jewelry is the stage of our marriage . Wait 2/4 years after marriage and send home . After getting dressed, go home and stay for 2/3 days . There is Gauna and then there is Thauna . After getting married in Thauna, the daughter is sent home, not kept in Maiti . After a month or a year, it is customary to send the house to the house of marriage.' 

If the husband dies in the middle, the daughter goes away. Sunita said that she is forced to remain a child widow as her daughter will be there after marriage and all her rights will be transferred from her parents to her mother-in-law. 

He also has the unpleasant experience of being submerged in water for five days. Sunita says, 'You also don't do anything ? Not even money . What do we do now? I can't take it anymore, I'm going to die now. Go and sell as much as you can, and bring some food.'

After going home, Sunita's life was filled with new sorrows. Sunita's husband Vikram was also 6 years old at the time of marriage. The two got married in childhood. Became a parent as a child. With that added new problems and challenges.

'How can a 14-year-old child go to someone else's house and deal with a difficult situation ? One is to leave your home . And how can you go to someone else's house? All new-new . Sunita passed the 10th standard in 2079, living a life of much misery and poverty. Now she is studying sociology in class 12 in Narayan Mavi. Son is studying science in class 11.

Sunita could not eat well when she was pregnant. Its effect was seen during childbirth . It was more painful. The hospital refused admission as the child was underage at the time of delivery. Instead, she took painkillers. Then his father took him to a nursing hospital and admitted him. His pain was not reduced. The health condition was also critical. So when she remembers the pain of childbirth, she pleads that no one should have to suffer like this even now .

Her cervix was not opened due to pain. At that time, a sound like a balloon bursting came out of his stomach. Taking a long breath, she began to recite again, "So much pain...God". I told my mother that something has broken inside my stomach . Mother looked and started crying . I was also scared when he started crying.'

The doctor told that it would be difficult to save both the child and the mother. He was taken for an operation. Having the courage to live for the child, she begged the doctor to save her son from her mother's love. Sunita was taken to the operating room.

Two days before he was discharged from the hospital, Vikram came to see his son and wife. Sunita says that she realized her mistake and apologized crying.

After suffering physical pain in giving birth to her first child, she did not want a second child . She started living in Maiti . Then the rays of hope began to shine. She took a loan and sent the old man abroad. She did not spend the money the old man earned. Her reading skills were not enough, so she wanted to give her son the best education . 

She says, "She didn't invest the money from abroad". Because I had one wish left to read . I invested my old money in my father's education. My father watched my and my father's dinner.' And so the time passed. After three years, her husband returned from Qatar. It was going well. The son was studying in class eight. In the year 2075, there was a small accident at his house. Which again caused misery . 

'Husband's foot was hurt by the tip of the shoe . We did the medicine immediately . But how did that wound get ripe,' she said, 'That wound got ripe and took the form of cancer . All the money earned went to foot treatment . Later our situation worsened again.' 

If the doctor in Nepal costs 10 lakh rupees for treatment. In the meantime, she reached Lucknow, India for her husband's treatment. It's okay too  Then husband Vikram gave Sunita a cover . The stopped dream is now in a state of fulfillment . Husband started working as a painter and wage earner . 

She happily narrated what her husband said, "I can pay my father's fee, I can pay your fee too." You read . We both decided and I started studying again.' But it wasn't as easy as I thought. Despite being separated from the family, Sunita had to take permission from Vikram's family to study.

She is also working as the president of Tol Bikas Chidimar organization. She is now busy with the work of preventing child marriage and women of Chidimar community.

She tells that in the Chidimar community, it is the ancestors who carry out the custom of early marriage. During his time, the age of children was openly at the age of 4/5 years, but now child marriages are taking place at the age of 13/14 secretly. 

Sunita also told that the practice of child marriage was imposed due to the superstition of earning merit by marrying a daughter before her period. He has also experienced that the practice of secretly marrying families of children without the knowledge of the local public representatives has increased . Sunita said that this is causing more problems.
