My home is Badigad Rural Municipality-7, Bhimgithe of Baglung. Mrs. Tithakumari and I came to Tamghas three years ago when there was a problem with livelihood in the village. Although we cannot earn money, we are happy with our children. We have 6 sons and 3 daughters. We are staying here in the headquarters with Saila's son and daughter-in-law.

Now I am 82 years old. While in the village, he had a habit of sitting without doing anything. I didn't want to be empty here. I already had a knack for knitting. There too, I raised my children by weaving and selling Sisnoka namlo. They could not cover the expenses by selling only the name . That's why I used to do itinerant business according to the season . Agriculture has become a common occupation in the village. I used to do the same thing for a living .  

When did you sit down and eat ? Had to run from a young age . In the year 2018, I remember reaching Khasyuli (Butwal) market and exchanging salt with millet. The same amount of salt was used for one half of millet . Returning to the village would have doubled the profit. When someone in the village asked for the salt brought from there, they would take 2 parts of millet equal to one part of salt. For some time, I used to manage household expenses in this way .

As he got older, his limbs stopped moving  . I can't work like before. After that, he decided to sit down and choose the easy job of knitting, which would save time and earn money. To make Namlo, I go to the market and collect the wasted sacks and bring them. And I take out the thread from the bag and prepare a name in 5 days . After the list is ready, I will take it to sell . I have set a price of 250 rupees for one. Some customers even give 300 for one seeing me .

1500 earned by selling barely 6 in a month . The house expenses are not enough. Sometimes the old people have to buy fruits and eat them . The old age allowance has caused household expenses. 8,000 monthly allowance comes from husband and wife . If you don't get allowance, it will be difficult to spend your old age. Normal lentils, rice and vegetables are enough. Not even old enough to go out and eat . We prepare it in the sweet kitchen . 8/10 thousand is spent on rice, pulses, vegetables and marmalade a month .

has now come to the modern age . Everyone has a mobile phone in their hands. They say they earn tons of money by playing games. In our time, if you didn't have skills, you would starve. I have learned how to knit. The more the age increases, the more the problem continues to increase. Modern times have come again. Names are not sold as before . After saying that they were going to sell Namlo in their old age, some of them bought it . Then I am happy that my skills have been valued. I am satisfied with my deeds in my old age.
