I carry the milk produced by farmers across the village from Hillihang rural municipality-5, Subhang to the collection center (dairy). Since 2050, when the practice of producing milk commercially and delivering it to the dairy started, I have been supporting my family by doing this work. There is a reason behind starting milk collection.

A cheese factory was opened in the Gopetar market of our district during the time of the then Agriculture Minister Padmasundar Lavati. Since that time, milk has started to be sold from the village. After the factory was opened, I also started making a living by carrying milk . At that time both age and strength were . I used to reach the factory carrying 70 liters of milk a day.  

After carrying milk on my back for three years, I became unemployed when the factory closed. He used to wander around the village and not get food. So, with the dream of earning 2/4 money, I came to India to work as a laborer with my friends from the village. After three years of wandering in different cities of India, when he returned home, dairy shops started opening with private investment in the village. After seeing that, I resumed the work of milking . 

Every morning, the routine of collecting the milk produced by the farmers of Subang and delivering it to the dairy was repeated. Bhuwani Prasad Lingden, the former village chairman of Hillihang, delivered milk for 3 years in the dairy operated by Panchami-3 Thumki, and another dairy operated by Lingden at the same place for another 3 years. After that, I spent 7 years in Yongyang Dai's dairy in Panchmi in Hilihang-6, Chature and 5 years in the dairy that opened in Tinpane in Panchmi. 

Maheshwar Bhandari of Subang has made milk dairy operation in the village easy. I have been delivering milk to Bhandari's dairy for 6 years. This is how the milking dairy changed. Many milk storage tanks burst. But, my mind never changed . While suffering so much, I earned a lot and spent it . When starting work, the wages of carrying milk was eight annas (fifty paisa) per liter. At that time, by carrying 70 liters of milk, at the rate of 35 rupees a day, one would earn as much as 1 thousand a month .

At that time, the expenses were less according to the income . Monthly household expenses were 500 rupees per month. Now husband and wife together take 110 liters of milk a day to the dairy. At the rate of 7 rupees per litre, the wages will be met . On the day of the death of the month, that same 25,000 hands fall. It's been 30 years since milk was transported to the dairy and cheese factory. I bought 9 ropani land by adding a loan to some amount collected by carrying milk . At the time of buying the land, he took a loan of 2 lakhs from the moneylender on the condition of paying interest at the rate of 2 hundred rupees. I have taken out the insufficient loan from Guras microfinance . 4,000 per month to pay interest to moneylenders and 12,000 for microfinance . 2 children study in class 12 . 4,000 is spent on paper, pens and clothes. No need to buy vegetables. 5,000 per month for rice, salt, bhutan and marmalade. After laboring, one should eat meat . Buying Khasi and local chicken meat costs 700 per kg. Broiler chickens and chickens cost Rs 350 per kg. If you eat meat five times a month, three thousand rupees will be spent. 28 to 30,000 monthly house expenses including interest.  What to do
