The National Examination Board is holding a meeting on Monday to prepare for the publication of the SEE results. The board officials have said that if no technical errors are found, the results will be published today.
They say that if it takes time to correct the errors, the results will be published by Tuesday at the latest. Board Member Secretary Jung Bahadur Aryal said that a meeting is being held to understand the preparations for the publication of the results and the board meeting itself will decide when to publish the results. Education Secretary Chudamani Poudel has reached the board's office in Sanothimi from Singha Durbar for the meeting.
Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel has been informed by board officials that the results will be published by tomorrow if possible. 'We have received information that the results will be published today, if not tomorrow,' said a source close to the minister.
There is an arrangement for the staff to prepare for the publication of the results and the decision to publish the results will be taken after the board members receive the information. The board is formed by nominating the Education Secretary, the Curriculum Development Center, the Ministry of Education and other experts. ‘We are holding a meeting to prepare for the publication of the results. If all preparations are in order, there is a high possibility that the results will be released today. Otherwise, it will be made public by tomorrow,’ said a member of the board.
The government had announced that the results would be published within a month of the end of the exam. The SEE exam was concluded on Chaitra 29. Arrangements were made to check the answer sheets at the exam centers to publish the results quickly.
512,421 students participated in the exam. Of which 257,613 were female students, 254,811 were male students and 7 were other students. 23 students from Everest School in Japan participated in the exam. The exam was conducted at 1,966 exam centers across the country.
