The government has directed the National Examination Board to publish the results of the SEE within a month. According to a source close to the National Examination Board, Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel has given the directive through Education Secretary Chudamani Poudel. The SEE exam is being conducted on Chaitra 19. So far, the results have been published only two months after the end of the exam. Minister Pokharel was told by the ministry's employees that it would take at least two months. The source said that the instructions have been made to publish the results quickly by making arrangements to test the answer sheets in the schools where the exam was conducted. The ministry says that Prime Minister Balendra Shah has also expressed interest in publishing the results quickly. Following the government's directive, preparations are underway to call a meeting of the board to take a decision. The post of chairman is vacant in the board. There is an arrangement for the vice-chairman to be the education secretary. He said that the necessary decisions will be taken after the board meets. Minister Pokharel said that homework is being done to shorten the period for publishing the SEE results. Previously, the practice of collecting answer sheets and testing them only at the headquarters of a specific district has been in place. After coding the answer sheets of one district, they are taken to another district for testing.
